Is My Child’s Cough Due to Wind-Cold?

After eating ice cream at a convenience store, the child developed cough and fever symptoms. After taking cephalosporin anti-inflammatory medication and a clearing fluid medicine, the fever somewhat subsided, but the cough did not improve. Asking whether it might be a wind-cold cough and seeking related treatment advice.
