How to Handle a Four-Month-Old Baby’s Scalp Alopecia?
The causes of scalp alopecia in babies can be diverse, including insufficient nutrition intake during pregnancy, a hard pillow, or a lack of calcium. Typically, scalp alopecia is caused by physiological sweating and friction between the head and the pillow. To reduce scalp alopecia, it is recommended to decrease the baby’s clothing and covering to minimize sweating during sleep. You can have the baby checked for blood calcium levels; if there is no deficiency, there is no need for deliberate supplementation, and more sun exposure is sufficient.
