What to Do When a Child Suddenly Loses Appetite and Has Repeated Diarrhea
If a child suddenly loses interest in eating and experiences recurrent diarrhea, it might be due to acute gastroenteritis. It is recommended to temporarily fast, allowing the stomach to rest adequately, and to drink a small amount of ginger and rock sugar water to alleviate thirst. Gradually resume eating after the child stops vomiting, starting with small amounts and increasing frequency, slowly building up to normal appetite.
