Why Does My 4-and-a-Half-Year-Old Speak Indistinctly?

The child was late in speaking before, and now at 4 and a half years old, many words are still pronounced incorrectly. The tongue tie has been checked and found to be fine. This situation is mainly considered to be due to delayed language development.
