Obvious Symptoms of Pediatric Pneumonia
Pediatric pneumonia may manifest symptoms such as fever, loss of appetite, irritability, and shortness of breath, with temperatures potentially reaching 40°C. In addition to respiratory symptoms, children may also experience general symptoms like fatigue, decreased appetite, and nausea or vomiting. Babies often show symptoms like refusing to eat, choking on milk, dry heaves, and difficulty breathing. If a child has a fever, coughs, and shows signs of shortness of breath, it’s best to have a chest X-ray and routine blood test to check for lung infections. The main clinical manifestations of pneumonia include fever, cough, rapid breathing, difficulty breathing, and lung rales. If pneumonia is suspected, it is recommended to seek further medical examination at a hospital.
