How to Treat Stuttering in Children

My child is now 7 years old. When he was little, he spoke late, had very few words, and was quite fluent. Later on, I noticed that he was becoming less articulate and his speech was unclear, often repeating a sentence or a word. Now it’s getting worse, sometimes his mouth opens wide, but the words don’t come out. At 2 and a half years old, babies may exhibit physiological stuttering. By this age, babies have a richer vocabulary and longer sentences. They may experience disfluent and unclear speech. About one in four babies exhibit physiological stuttering at this age. This is not unusual. Parents need to remain calm and composed. Maintain a peaceful mind. Parents’ love and patience are the best encouragement and support for the baby. It’s easy to say but difficult to do. This undoubtedly poses the most severe test of parents’ love and patience.

It is not recommended to treat bedwetting in children with medication.
