How Effective Are the Treatments for Pediatric Hydrocephalus and Diplegia?
Pediatric hydrocephalus is caused by a disorder in the balance of cerebrospinal fluid. After birth, the baby’s head gradually grows, leading to an imbalance in the ratio of head to trunk. Clinical manifestations of the disease include headache, vomiting, and drowsiness. Early treatment is conservative for mild patients, while moderate to severe patients without intellectual disabilities require aggressive treatment.
