How to Determine If a Baby Is Breastfeeding

When there is an ample supply of milk, you can hear the baby’s swallowing sounds, and they usually nurse at one breast for 5 to 6 minutes. After finishing, the baby will release the nipple on its own, showing a good mood or falling asleep peacefully. Additionally, observing the baby’s growth in height and weight each week or month can also help determine if they are getting enough breast milk.
