Treatment for a Child’s Sore Throat and Fever

Antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs are the primary methods and medications used in clinical treatment for pediatric tonsillitis. Parents can choose treatments based on symptoms, and in addition to taking medication, they can also perform some local treatments such as rinsing or direct medication to reinforce the efficacy. If the main symptom is throat pain, painkillers can be considered. For fever, fever-reducing medication can be taken. It is recommended to seek medical attention as soon as possible when feverish. If tonsillitis recurs frequently, surgery is suggested as soon as possible. Additionally, parents should ensure that their child stays warm to prevent catching a cold and triggering a recurrence of tonsillitis.
