How Much Do Newborns Typically Grow in Their First Month?

With ample breast milk and proper feeding, newborns usually gain around 1500 grams in their first month. Some infants may even grow to 2000 grams, which is within the range of individual differences. What’s most important is that the baby should not cry or be restless and should remain healthy.
