Medication Treatment for Cerebral Palsy in Children
Cerebral palsy is a non-progressive syndrome of brain damage caused by various reasons from pre-birth to one month after birth. The goal of treatment is to maximize the child’s function, improve the quality of life, minimize side effects, and avoid surgery. Physical therapy, orthopedic treatment, soft tissue stretching, and other measures help increase joint mobility, regulate muscle tension, enhance control and coordination abilities, and perform fine motor skill training to master daily living skills.
