Pediatric bronchitis pneumonia is one of the most common types of pneumonia, especially prevalent in infants and young children. Most cases of pneumonia are caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, primarily affecting the alveoli near the bronchi, leading to inflammation of the bronchial walls and mucosa without affecting the deeper layers. The main symptoms include fever, cough, chest pain, or difficulty breathing. For children, if diagnosed with bronchitis, it is recommended to be hospitalized due to the high risk of recurrence and the disease being a viral infection that requires antibiotics to control the infection and prevent deterioration.
