Is It Normal for a Baby’s Eyes to Be Yellow?

When the baby was two months old, the whites of its eyes turned yellow. Tests revealed jaundice, with liver function indicators three to four times higher than normal, leading to a diagnosis of acute liver injury and the presence of cytomegalovirus. After treatment, alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase levels remained elevated, but other indicators had returned to normal. Which test is more accurate: blood or urine? If the baby has cytomegalovirus, can it still be breastfed?
