How to Handle High Jaundice in Newborns?

Newborns with severe jaundice should be vigilant about the recurrence of kernicterus, especially in preterm infants. Generally, after severe jaundice recurs, the baby may experience symptoms such as listlessness, coma, weak suckling, muscle tension, dry heaves, and refusal to drink milk within 12-48 hours.
