Osteomylitis is mostly caused by improper use of force, leading to damage to the periosteum and resulting in regional swelling and inflammatory reactions. If not properly managed after treatment, it is prone to recurrence. Treatments such as regional microwave therapy, ice packs, and the use of external analgesic ointments can be adopted. In case of bacterial infection, antibiotic treatment should be administered.
