Magnetic Resonance Imaging Discovers Multiple Abnormalities in Bilateral Frontal, Parietal, and Occipital Lobes

A child’s delayed language development is noted, with limited vocabulary such as ‘Dad’, ‘Mom’, ‘Grandma’, ‘Grandpa’. After hospital examination, the report indicates abnormalities in the frontal, parietal, and occipital lobes of the brain, showing low signal on T1WI, high signal on T2WI, and high signal on Flair. No obvious enlargement of ventricles or cisterns is seen, and there is no displacement of midline structures. Inquiry about possible causes for such symptoms.
