Is It Good for Kids to Wash Their Hair Every Day?

Washing a child’s hair every day is not recommended as their hair follicles are more delicate. Generally, washing hair three times a week is sufficient, and it’s not necessary to do it daily. Frequent hair washing can also harm the scalp. When washing a baby’s hair, hold the baby’s head with your left hand and use your thumb and forefinger of the left hand to cover the baby’s ears to prevent water from entering. Then, gently clean your right hand with a damp towel. Afterward, use a separate towel to gently wipe away any moisture from the head. If water accidentally gets into the baby’s ears, use a clean cotton swab to absorb the water from the ears.
