How Long After Glaucoma Surgery Can the Gauze Be Removed?

After glaucoma surgery, medication changes and observation require the gauze to be opened once a day. It usually takes about a week to completely remove the gauze. The recovery process varies from person to person, and whether normalcy can be restored largely depends on individual conditions. It is advisable to avoid spicy and greasy foods in the diet.
