Why Is My Child’s Stomach Absorption Poor?

There may be two reasons for poor stomach absorption in children: one is dyspepsia, mainly caused by improper diet or unreasonable feeding leading to gastrointestinal dysfunction; the other is gastrointestinal infection, leading to diarrhea. It is recommended to avoid using anti-diarrheal drugs, especially during the acute stage, and generally not to use them. Severe diarrhea and vomiting can easily lead to dehydration and acidosis, among other adverse effects, and should be treated promptly.
