Is It Safe for a Baby to Brush Their Fontanelle with a Plastic Brush?

A 22-month-old baby accidentally brushed their fontanelle with a plastic brush, resulting in redness and slight skin abrasions. Generally, if the baby stops crying immediately after a fall and continues to eat and play normally, there is no need to worry. In extremely rare cases, brain injury may occur. If the baby exhibits unusual behavior like dazed eyes, weakness throughout the body, or vomiting after a fall, they should be taken to the hospital immediately. After a serious fall, avoid letting the baby bathe or play outside that day, and regularly check their condition during sleep.
