How to Determine if a Baby Is Satisfied After Feeding

When a baby suckles at the breast 2 to 3 times, and a clear swallowing sound can be heard, and this continues for about 10 minutes, it usually indicates that the baby has consumed enough milk. Conversely, if the baby seems particularly exerted while feeding or clings to the nipple tightly after eating, it might be a sign that the baby is not yet satisfied.
