Treatment for Endocardial Elastic Fibroma in Infants

A 4-month-old female infant, weighing 5.4 pounds at birth, exhibited symptoms of rapid breathing and slow growth at 3 months old. She was later diagnosed with endocardial elastic fibroma and patent ductus arteriosus. After taking digoxin, the regurgitation improved, but she then experienced severe diarrhea and dehydration.
