When Can Babies Start Eating Egg Yolks?

Babies as young as 4 to 5 months old can begin to try cooked egg yolks. Start with 1/4 of an egg yolk, crushed and mixed with rice porridge or milk, to ensure the baby can adapt. As the baby adjusts, gradually increase to half an egg yolk. If the baby is formula-fed, it is recommended to give a small amount of water between feedings to avoid heat stroke.
