Do Infants Still Need to Care for Their Navel After the First Month?

Newborn navels usually fall off within 7 days, but due to excessive nutrition, the navel of modern infants may fall off later. Improper handling may lead to granuloma, umbilical abscess, or umbilical hernia, requiring minimally invasive surgery and a large amount of antibiotics to prevent infection. Avoid spicy and other irritating foods.
