If a two-year-old nine-month-old child can only speak single words and simple two-word phrases, such as ‘me’, ‘fire’, ‘ox’, and two-word phrases like ‘Dad’, ‘Mom’, ‘Grandpa’, ‘Uncle’, but can understand adults’ instructions and respond accordingly, does this mean their language development is slower, but it can be improved through specific training?
