Treatment Methods for Children with Cerebral Palsy

The treatment for children with cerebral palsy mainly consists of two parts: treating the brain and dealing with potential residual symptoms. For brain issues, as medication is not effective and surgery is rarely possible, the focus is on keeping the child active. The same goes for residual symptoms. Poor brain function poses a challenge for the future. Perhaps the child won’t exercise well at first, but parents should patiently teach and repeat exercises. The child should not be blamed.
