When Will a Baby Stop Spitting Up Milk?

Infants under three months may experience spitting up milk, which is due to their small stomach capacity and underdeveloped lower esophageal sphincter. Spitting up usually does not require medication and only requires timely expulsion of milk to prevent aspiration. As the baby grows older, the symptoms of spitting up will gradually diminish, and the symptoms will stop around the age of six months.
