What’s Going on With My Baby’s Diarrhea and Elevated Blood Lymphocytes?

My baby boy is a little over two months old. He has had a bit of diarrhea for the past two days, and the blood test shows slightly elevated lymphocytes. What’s going on? If it’s just a slight increase in lymphocytes, it’s first considered that the nausea and vomiting are caused by a viral infection. It is suggested to give the child probiotics to relieve the symptoms. I remember to pay attention to the child’s diet list, avoiding spicy and stimulating foods, and drinking plenty of water to prevent dehydration. It’s also crucial to keep the indoor air well-ventilated, feed with breast milk in small amounts multiple times, and if offering complementary foods, avoid cold and raw foods. For these few days of diarrhea, avoid eating meat.
