How to Handle Newborn Vomiting?

Newborn vomiting is mainly caused by physiological factors, usually related to the anatomical position of the stomach and the function of the lower esophageal sphincter. It is recommended to adopt an upright patting back method after each feeding to help burp, and then let the baby sleep after burping to reduce the occurrence of vomiting. As the baby grows older, vomiting usually improves. If there are no other discomfort symptoms, most cases do not require excessive concern. However, it is still advisable for parents to continuously observe the baby’s condition. If they notice that the baby has persistent eye mucus or symptoms worsen, they should take the baby to the hospital for a check-up in a timely manner.
