The baby is nine months old and has been crying and distressed day and night, refusing to eat solid food and only drinking milk. After a fever on December 31st last year, the baby improved after taking medicine, but then had a fever again on January 2nd this year, which subsided after taking medicine that day. Today, the baby has a stuffy nose with mucus, eye crusts, and has vomited twice. The parents are unsure of the cause of the baby’s symptoms.
