How to Determine if a Three-Month-Old Baby Has a Fever

A three-month-old baby’s normal body temperature should not exceed 37.5 degrees Celsius. A temperature of 37.5 degrees Celsius or higher indicates a fever, and 38.5 degrees Celsius or higher is considered a high fever. During a high fever, you can give the baby some fever-reducing medicine and seek medical attention as soon as possible. If the baby is affected by newborn diseases, the mother should take the child to the hospital immediately for treatment to avoid misdiagnosis and receive timely symptomatic treatment. Parents should closely monitor the baby’s condition and do their best to help them receive timely treatment for diseases.
