Newborn Jaundice at 268, How to Handle After Blue Light Therapy?

The newborn’s bilirubin level was found to be 268 on the fourth day. After four days of blue light therapy, the level dropped to 136 (skin test) and 104 (blood test). A slight increase in the parvovirus value was noted, but all other checks were normal. After stopping the blue light therapy, at least observe for 24 to 48 hours, and if the bilirubin level does not rebound, you can discharge the baby. It is recommended to take oral probiotics to help reduce jaundice.
