For the past week or so, the child has been suffering from severe coughing every night. Sometimes, they vomit the food they ate at dinner, and at other times, some mucus. After vomiting, they sleep soundly. Initially, I thought it was due to eating too much for dinner, but even when dinner was light, they still vomited. There is no sign of asthma. They had a cold with a runny nose before, which then turned into coughing, and now it’s especially severe at night. The child just started kindergarten, and they may eat more when they come home because they aren’t full during the day.
