Can Canker Sores Develop into Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease?

My baby has had a cold for 8 days. Initially, she had a fever, but it subsided after receiving injections and medication. However, two days later, she developed canker sores in her throat and started to have a fever again. After five days of intravenous drip treatment, she still has intermittent fevers and her gums are slightly red and swollen. Is this Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease? There are no rashes on her hands and feet.

Can Canker Sores Lead to Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease?

My daughter is 4 years old. Two days ago, she had severe canker sores, which are suspected to be Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease. After her afternoon nap yesterday, she had a fever of 38.5 degrees Celsius, which subsided after intravenous fluid therapy. This morning, after intravenous fluid therapy, she fell asleep at 4 pm and woke up at 6 pm with a fever of 38.5 degrees Celsius again, accompanied by headache. Is this symptom indicative of encephalitis or meningitis?
