Solving the Poop Problem

A 3-month-old baby’s stool contains a lot of mucus, occasionally accompanied by curdles. The white blood cell test result for the stool is 0-1. The issue has persisted for over 20 days. The baby does not have diarrhea when fed with lactose-free formula, but the mucus stool returns when normal formula is resumed.
