Can children take cold medication and Shuanghuanglian Oral Liquid together?

If a child’s cold is caused by catching a cold, it is usually sufficient to take the cold medication alone, without the need to also take Shuanghuanglian Oral Liquid. Shuanghuanglian Oral Liquid is primarily used to treat symptoms of wind-heat colds, including yellow nasal discharge, fever, sore throat, and cough. It’s not the case that more medication is always better, as all medications have certain side effects. Reducing or not using medication is the best choice. If the cold symptoms are severe, follow the medication instructions and take it on time.
