Question

What should I do if my 7-month-old baby chokes on formula at night?

Answer

It is usually caused by baby choking on milk. It is suggested to hold the baby upright immediately after feeding and let them stay in that position for a while before lying them down. Currently, the milk in the baby’s nasal cavity should not cause any major problems; it can naturally drain out of the nostrils or reflux into the mouth or throat.
