The navel and the baby’s umbilical cord are not connected. The umbilical cord is attached to the placenta from where the baby absorbs nutrients. Of course, the baby will play with its umbilical cord inside the womb, but your abdominal pain should not be related to the baby playing with the umbilical cord.
