Question

Why does a 2-year-old baby vomit after eating?

Answer

Vomiting in a 2-year-old after eating may be a symptom of acute enteritis, gastritis, pyloric spasm, hypertrophy or stenosis, pneumonia, or meningitis. It is often accompanied by nausea, increased abdominal pressure, frequent vomiting, and large amounts of vomit that may contain milk clumps and stomach contents. Sometimes, it may even contain green bile and can be -like (in a Jet-like manner).
