Question
Why does a 4-month-old baby get thinner while breastfeeding?
Answer
Due to the lack of ideal weaning foods and insufficient scientific feeding methods, a baby’s growth rate gradually slows down from around four months old. By six months, the growth rate has already fallen below the level in developed countries. Consequently, the growth rate continues to deviate from the normal level, leading to many children being in a state of malnutrition by the age of two.
