Question
How Long Should a Baby Bottle Feed Before It’s Appropriate to Wean?
Answer
Typically, around the age of 1 is the appropriate time to consider weaning a baby. At this point, breast milk production has decreased, and the baby’s physiological functions have gradually matured, usually having 6 to 8 teeth and being able to adapt to harder foods. However, the timing for weaning still needs to be determined based on the individual condition of the baby. Preparations for weaning should start gradually from around 5 months old, and complementary foods should be introduced appropriately.
