Question

My newborn is 19 days and 10 hours old and has a congenital heart disease with an interventricular septal defect. Will this have any impact?

Answer

The child is still very young, and there is a possibility of the interventricular septal defect naturally closing. The idea that the defect will enlarge as the heart grows is incorrect. Currently, this condition does not seem to have a significant impact on the child, and vaccinations can proceed as planned.
