Question
At the age of three, I contracted pediatric paralysis and received timely treatment, which has stabilized my condition. However, I have a slight limp when walking too fast. The left leg is affected, being thinner and more atrophied than the right leg. It also comes with genu varum and a difference in leg length. Do you have any recommendations for orthopedic hospitals where I can consult on treatment plans to improve these sequelae? I am in urgent need of advice, thank you!!!
Answer
I recommend consulting a reputable local hospital and following the instructions of your attending physician for medication. I remind patients not to self-medicate and to seek treatment at a reputable hospital as soon as they experience discomfort. Wishing you good health.
