A 6-month-old baby frequently raises their head and then falls back onto the bed when lying on their stomach to prepare for sleep. When held, they sometimes bump their shoulders as well. This behavior mostly occurs when they are drowsy and they tend to gnaw on adults’ shoulders while bowing their heads. We have not observed any other convulsive symptoms, nor have we noticed any staring spells. Is this a sign of infantile epilepsy?
