Question

My daughter is nearly 6 years old and has been experiencing frequent blinking and involuntary mouth opening for the past two weeks. She had a similar episode of blinking a year ago, when a hospital examination revealed that she has myopia and conjunctivitis. After medication, her blinking stopped, but she has been undergoing eye training exercises and wearing glasses (with uncorrected vision of 1.0 and 0.8). This time, after the blinking started again, she has been using “Tobradex” eye drops, but there has been no significant improvement. I asked her why she keeps opening her mouth frequently, and she said her mouth feels itchy. Today, after an oral examination by an otolaryngologist, everything was normal.
