Cholecalciferol vitamin milk is used for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis, renal osteodystrophy (renal rickets), hyperparathyroidism (with bone disease), hypoparathyroidism, rickets and osteomalacia due to nutritional and absorption disorders, and pseudo-hypoparathyroidism (D-dependent type I) rickets and osteomalacia. Its main function is to supplement vitamin D and promote calcium absorption. There is no problem with drinking two bottles consecutively, as only 20,000 units of vitamin D at a time can cause toxicity.
