Question
I recently found a lump on the right side of my ear and I’m not sure if it’s a lymph node. There is no pain when pressed, and it is not connected to the skin. When I touch it from the edge of the mastoid bone with my hand, I can clearly feel its layered texture. What could this be?
Answer
In your case, considering lymph node enlargement or sebaceous cyst as possibilities poses no major concerns. It is recommended that you actively treat your allergic rhinitis, take oral antibiotics, closely monitor the situation, and if medical treatment is ineffective, you can opt for surgical removal followed by a pathological examination.
