The typical symptoms of pediatric psoriasis are the appearance of small red rashes all over the body, which quickly develop into small red patches the size of green beans and soybeans, with a layer of silvery scales that can be scraped off lightly. This type of psoriasis is known as ‘droplet psoriasis’. Patients with this type of psoriasis can take some antibiotics or herbal remedies to clear heat and detoxify to treat infections. Once the infection is controlled, some patients may see improvement in their skin lesions.
