Answer

Meisuan Qing tablet efficacy and indications: This product can stabilize mast cell membranes, reduce IgE release, thereby alleviating asthma symptoms, and can be used to prevent recurrence of pediatric asthma. The main adverse reactions are drowsiness, sedation, and dullness. Gastrointestinal reactions include dry mouth, nausea, and vomiting, other symptoms include dizziness, blurred vision, headache, fatigue, and weight gain. Asthma prevention: First, identify triggers and avoid allergens; secondly, strengthen physical fitness and prevent medication use. Commonly used medications include corticosteroid drugs (budesonide, fluticasone), leukotriene receptor antagonists (Singulair), and sodium cromoglicate anti-inflammatory drugs. These medications can be chosen as long-term preventive drugs. If there is an acute attack, b2 receptor agonists (salbutamol) or theophylline drugs (aminophylline) can be added. Treatment can start with inhaled corticosteroids and switch to sodium cromoglicate or ketotifen to maintain after the condition stabilizes. Treatment method: For the prevention of pediatric asthma with ketotifen, follow medical instructions; generally for children under 3 years old, 0.5mg per dose, twice daily; for children over 3 years old, 1mg per dose, twice daily.
