Question
My niece has recently developed some small red spots on her hands, and she doesn’t want to eat. Initially, it was just on her hands, but now it’s also in the creases of her feet. There’s nothing else, of course, it’s quite hot in the summer, and I’m not sure if it’s the symptoms of hand, foot, and mouth disease. I don’t have much experience and would like to consult a doctor. I’m looking for information on what the symptoms of hand, foot, and mouth disease are.
Answer
Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease is an infectious disease caused by enteroviruses, primarily characterized by small blisters or red rash on the hands, feet, mouth, and buttocks.
